Flower Language

Floriography, or the language of flowers, was a cryptographic means of communication during the Victoria era. Talking bouquets were often exchanged or worn as fashion accessories. These works came about as an expression of managing adversity; therefore, all the flowers folded carry negative connotations and are displayed disembodied, floating in a protective yet fragile cloche. The origami process itself is meditative and therapeutic, offering healing and introspection.
